Self Check-in is at 3pm and Check-out is at 11am.  Full check-in instructions will be sent to you via email on the day of your arrival. 

Our userfriendly Self Check-in kiosk is located in our lobby.

Self Check-out, all you need to do is return your key into the "Express Checkout" box located in the lobby.

This is a room only property with no breakfast options available, however our Guest Information booklet in each room will provide you with excellent breakfast recommendations close by!

Due to our location, we are unable to provide any private parking.  Don't worry however as there is ample on street parking available and a large car park situated within a 2 minute walk of the property.

As we are a self-check-in property, this service is subject to availability. However, you’re welcome to use our luggage drop-off area if needed. Simply follow the signs on the wall, or give us a call if you need help finding it.

Yes, we can provide a cot, but it must be requested in advance. Cots can only be accommodated in our King Rooms or Family Room, so please book one of these room types if you require a cot.

Our largest rooms are our King Rooms—Rooms 2, 9, 10 and 12—and our Family Room, Room 14.

Our housekeeping team is on the premises every day from 9am to 5pm. You can also reach us at any time by phone or email if you need assistance.

There is no lift at the property, and all upper-floor rooms are accessible by stairs only. Our Family Room, Room 14, is the only room on the ground floor.

No, our rooms do not have televisions. We’ve chosen to keep them TV-free to offer a relaxing space where you can switch off and unwind after exploring Clifden and Connemara.

The only rooms with separate beds are:

• Room 5, listed under our Standard Double Rooms, with one double bed and one single bed.

• Room 14, our Family Room, with one double bed, one single bed and a pull-out sofa bed.

No, The Central House offers room-only accommodation and does not have a bar or restaurant on site. However, our location in the heart of Clifden means you’ll find plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs just a short walk from our door.
